Shirley Ann Blonski joins with her father WW2 veteran and his medals in a display for Remembrance Day. Shirley Ann was in the RCAF, and father in Canadian Army and mother was English in the ATS as an ambulance driver, where they met and married during WW2. The smaller photo is of our family returning to Canada after an over-seas posting in England. During a varied career, Shirley Ann has over 50 years experience in the fashion and sewing industries. For her, it is not a job, it is a lifestyle. She knows what it is necessary to stock to make your projects easier.

 

 

Staff:

Heather has been a long time staff member, for 17 years now. She knows this store and our business inside and out. She is always ready to assist you in your projects.

 

Sue works part-time and is very customer friendly.

 

Trish and her husband are ardent golfers. In summer she will be found on the golf links, but is with us from fall to spring. She is always ready to help a customer.

 

Ann is a snowbird. She is here every summer. She has many years of experience working in fabric stores. She has a great attitude with customers, with her you are always number 1!

 

Alexis is a newer part-timer, but she also has previous experience in fabric stores. She is a great new addition to our staff.

All of our staff are expert sewers and quilters.
